Synthēsis invites submissions for short-format meta-analyses across all areas of medicine.
Each paper should present a clear, reproducible synthesis of existing evidence on a well-defined clinical, diagnostic, or prognostic question.

Short Meta-Analyses (≤400 words) and Methods Notes (≤1000 words). Submissions must includet include:

  • A pre-registered protocol (PROSPERO or OSF)

  • Full PRISMA 2020 flow diagram

  • Risk of bias assessment (RoB 2 or ROBINS-I)

  • GRADE summary of evidence

  • Open data and analysis code with DOIs

Accepted papers are published Open Access under the CC BY 4.0 licence.
Submissions are open year-round.
